Want to learn more about talking with your child about masculinity?

Join Male Allies for this free workshop. This workshop is for boys ages 8 -12 and their care givers. In this workshop we will explore what it means to be a boy today.

“Man up.” “Act like a lady.” Statements like these are heard every day and push people into boxes based on their gender. This workshop examines some of the ways in which gender-based stereotypes impact our relationships with ourselves and others.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Define gender, biological sex, and stereotypes
Explain the problematic nature of gender stereotypes
Recognize how gender stereotypes are enforced in everyday life

While the event is free, registration is required. You can register here
